What is Glucosamine sulfate?

Glucosamine is an amino sugar, point of departure for the synthesis of glycoprotein.
It  is a natural compound that the body derives directly from glucose, from non branched polysaccharides, which are incorporated into proteoglycans, proteins that contain glycosaminoglycans. The proteoglycans are found in every tissue of the human body, particularly in the extra cellular matrix, their activity is the ability to attract water.

Glucosamine is found in the joints, the synovial fluid in the tendon, the ligaments, the muscles, the heart valves, in the eye, in the blood, in the digestive tract and respiratory tract.
